Pasang Dolma Sherpa
A Dashain Walk That Changed Everything
Every Dashain, while other kids waited for new clothes and tika, Pasang Dolma Sherpa's parents had a different plan. They'd hand Pasang and her siblings heavy bags of books and take the whole family to the village. Hours into the hills. Back to Golchi, back to where they came from. Their parents wanted them to never forget the roots they belonged to.
And it worked. Pasang saw children who had never held a storybook. Classrooms with no shelves. Bright kids with no chance. Parents, just like hers, who gave everything but still couldn't give enough.
Years later, Pasang became Miss Mongol Nepal 2022. But the girl who walked those hills never left. Her first move? Build the library Golchi never had. That's how Wings Nepal Foundation started. Not from a boardroom, but from a dusty trail and a bag full of books.

The Timeline
Foundation Established
Wings Nepal Foundation was officially established with a mission to create Wings for Education, Health, Empowerment and Entrepreneurship across Nepal.
Project Wings for Golchi Launched
Launched our flagship project in partnership with Miss Mongol Nepal 2022 to build a Child Library & Study Room at Shree Golchi Basic School, Sindhupalchok.
Tatopani School Handover
Handed over sports materials and stationery to Shree Tatopani Basic School, Sindhupalchok, supporting 150+ students. President Pasang Dolma Sherpa visited classrooms, labs, and the school library.
Book Drive & Collection Campaign
Organized a major book donation drive, collecting children's books, toys, and learning materials from donors and partners including Ekata Book Store, Thapathali.
Project Warm Success
Distributed warm jackets with Wings Nepal Foundation branding to children in the remote mountain village of Golchi, Sindhupalchok.
Library Infrastructure Completed
Successfully delivered and set up the child library and study room with books, educational toys, and smart learning materials at Golchi village.
Expanding Impact
Continuing to grow our programs across Nepal with new communities and partnerships for education and empowerment.
